Dùng để nối hệ thống Access Switch tại các phòng kỹ thuật của mỗi tầng tới các Outlets của người sử dụng cuối đặt tại các phòng làm việc trong toà nhà. Tại mỗi tầng, hệ thống này bắt đầu từ thanh phối cáp (Patch Panels) tại các khung phối cáp trong phòng kỹ thuật và kết thúc tại ổ cắm mạng (Outlets) của người sử dụng lắp tại các phòng làm việc. Chúng chạy trong nẹp nhựa đi nỗi trên tường của mỗi tầng nối từ phòng kỹ thuật của tầng, sau đó toả đi men theo hành lang các phòng làm việc trong tầng tới các outlets.
